Mark Bradley

Artist - Pen & Ink

I create very detailed Pen & Ink art. Growing up I loved etchings and copied them to learn drawing and to challenge my artistic abilities. Most of what I display are prints of the originals. The originals are much larger but, due to greater printing technology, can scale my art down and retain the detail I achieved at the larger scale. As I come upon a scene that I love, I compose the whole scene but then the viewer will start to notice the details of the long grass, and intricacies of the tree branches, leaves, and bark. My work seems to draw the viewer in because of the stark contrasts. The details of the work then seem hold the attention.

Kristy Hawkes Fine Art

Oil Painter

My oil paintings are inspired by clear water, shifting light, reflections, and the quite beauty of the natural world. I paint primarily from my own photographs using places I have explored as a starting point while allowing each piece to become it's own experience. My work features luminous lakes forested shore lines and peaceful moments that invite the viewer to slow down and look a little closer. My hope is that visitors will recognize not only a place, but also a feeling - a memory of sunlight on the water, the stillness of the trees, or the sense of wonder that comes from standing somewhere beautiful.

Four Birds

Multidisciplinary

I currently am exhibiting a curated selection of 35mm film prints taken on estate sale and thrift store cameras. Every shot aims to evoke a feeling of nostalgia and peaceful wonder. My love for film developed when I bought my first cameras at an estate sale, fixed them up, and started shooting pictures whenever I could. My main cameras are an Olympus and a Minolta. I also enjoy experimenting with shooting 120 format with my Kodak Box Brownie and Voigtlander Brilliant. I also create in other mediums such as block printing, oil painting, and customizing Kinco mittens.
